Presentation “Customer Adoption Path: Staying on your Target Market’s Shortlist”
Each organization is faced with their own unique challenges of building a business case, maintaining a business case, launching a new product and sometimes all three. The goal is to capture the desired market share for your sector, and then keep these clients throughout the years. Obviously, easier said than done! What holds true is that people do business with people. In order to maintain and capture market share, you will need a plan to effectively implement an internal and external sales force that is passionate about their product and company they are working for. This discussion will cover how to make sure your clients know your brand when they are making a purchasing decision and how to effectively understand a buyers “pain points” or “your client’s needs and wants” and educate them that your solution will fix their problems.
Topics Adressed:
- Understanding how to differentiate your value proposition and position this message to decision makers
- Effectively build relationships to understand a clients real needs and influence decisions before they happen
- Create the awareness throughout the entire customer adoption path, so you are positioned on your target market’s shortlist when they are ready to purchase

Rich will share some of the peak communication techniques found in his book Unleashing the Power of Consultative Selling and eHealth Patterns in the 21st Century where he was the executive editor.
Some of the topics covered:
- What is the best communication media… video, content or kiosks?
- What works best…The carrot or the stick?
- How to find and use compelling language that attracts people to your service line.
- Why every hospital needs to redesign their web presence today.

Keynote Presentation “A Simple Equation: Mind Share + Market Share"
The evolution of Allscripts has been closely watched as the company has grown into a central player in the market with over 5,500 employees, more than $1.2 billion in revenue, serving a client base of over 180,000 physicians and 1,500 hospitals across the United States.
During this talk, Dan will discuss how, even in an rapidly changing and complex market, the company has maintained a relatively simple 'go to market' formula: mind share + market share. Relative to mind share, he will detail how the company has evolved its' brand to keep it both vital and viral. And relative to market share, the new dynamics of lead generation and sales enablement will be discussed. That simple equation, when executed against with the appropriate rigor, speed and creativity, ultimately translates into a different form of measurement - what the marketing team refers to as ‘meaningful outputs’ or ‘M.O.s’ for both the company and for clients.
